Engagement process
How Anchor Risk Advisory scopes, delivers, and closes a continuity or risk engagement — from first call to tabletop.
A process shaped for advisory work
Continuity and risk advice fails when it is rushed into a binder and closed. Our engagement process is deliberately paced so managers can gather facts, challenge drafts, and practise decisions before documents are marked final.
1. Briefing call
You describe critical activities, sites, and the interruptions that keep you awake. We confirm whether a Continuity Readiness Review, workshop, drill, or a combination fits — and whether timing works for both calendars. No fee for this call when you are exploring fit.
2. Engagement letter
We issue a letter covering scope, exclusions, fee, deposit, travel assumptions, and delivery dates. Work starts when the letter is signed and the deposit (if required) is received.
3. Discovery
Interviews, document review, and site walkthroughs. We note single points of failure in people, premises, records, and suppliers. You remain free to limit access to commercially sensitive material; we will flag where that limit leaves a gap.
4. Draft advice
You receive draft continuity packs, risk registers, or drill scripts for comment. We expect pushback — local knowledge often corrects an advisor’s first pass.
5. Practice session
Where scoped, we run a tabletop or communications drill. Awkward discoveries here are successes: better found in a meeting room than during a real flood or fire.
6. Close-out
Final documents, a punch-list of actions you own, and an optional date for a twelve-month refresh. We do not retain your materials behind a login wall; files are delivered to your nominated contacts.
