Fee guidance
Indicative ranges for continuity reviews, workshops, and drills. Final fees follow a scoped briefing.
Fees reflect site count, interview load, travel outside Dunedin, and whether a tabletop or communications drill is included. Figures below are starting points in New Zealand dollars, exclusive of GST. We confirm a fixed quote in the engagement letter after a free briefing call.
| Advisory offer | Starting from | What drives the fee |
|---|---|---|
| Continuity Readiness Review | NZ$6,800 | Number of sites, depth of supplier mapping, tabletop participant count |
| Operational Risk Workshop | NZ$2,400 | Half-day vs full-day, preparation of sector scenarios, follow-up register polish |
| Crisis Communications Drill | NZ$1,900 | On-site vs remote facilitation, custom media injects, number of spokespeople |
| Retainer advisory (monthly) | NZ$1,200 / month | Quarterly plan refresh, on-call questions, one short drill per year |
Estimate factors we discuss early
- Travel and overnight stays outside the Dunedin area
- Access to existing plans that need rewriting versus starting blank
- Whether board papers or regulator-facing summaries are required
- Combined packages (for example, review plus communications drill)
Deposits and billing
Engagements over NZ$3,000 usually require a 30% deposit to reserve calendar time. The balance is invoiced on delivery of the agreed pack or at agreed milestones. Retainers are billed monthly in advance.
What we do not charge for
The initial briefing call (up to 45 minutes) is complimentary when you are exploring fit. We do not charge success fees, referral kickbacks, or percentage-of-recovery arrangements.
Request a scoped fee estimate after sharing your sites and the interruptions that concern you most.
